We all know how important exercise is for us not just to stay fit and healthy but also and more importantly, for our mental wellbeing. Unfortunately, we may also find going to the gym or studio classes quite a challenge and even intimidating, especially if we are carrying extra unwanted pounds.
I have spoken to many men and women of a variety of different ages, who are either carrying a few extra pounds or unhealthy due to being overweight. They have all mentioned that they have found it a challenge to join Gyms or local Leisure Centres for fear of what others may think of them.
With these lovely people in mind, I have personally designed a six-week exercise and fitness program which can be downloaded and used at your convenience and in the comfort of your own home. The fitness program consists of two 20 minute workouts per week, from gentle cardio workouts to strength work.
Before embarking on any fitness program, it is always advisable to see your doctor first. Your doctor will be able to check your blood pressure and heart rate and confirm whether it is safe for you to start your exercising program.
After seeing your Doctor and getting an all clear, you can now embark on your new healthier lifestyle, getting fit and healthy both physically and mentally.
For best results and mindset, I suggest you clear a space in your home that can for your workout program. Having a designated area will help you and your mind get into the right mindset. Your room doesn’t have to be too big, but it is essential that it is clutter-free and perhaps even pop some motivational quotes up on the wall or the side to spur you on and motivate you to conquer your goal.
